We ported right to a bunch of crocs that finished off some of the lower level people.View image: Ah, good times. We're supposed to be where the white circle is.View image: What do you do when the world falls out underneath you and you're going to drown anyway? ISSUE A BEATDOWN!!View image: That fellow killed like 2 or 3 people before he ran out of air.A shot of the chat log. Notice this guy, he's the one who does the hack.View image: Then all of a sudden, we're in the waterView image: Somehow we're in the area circled in red. Here are a few shots:We started out in Khar, a neutral NPC city. Like hackers would make whole cities suddenly be miles underwater and everyone would drown. One of my friends used to play and he told me stories of the craziest things happening. But as angrymob and others have mentioned, it takes much less effort to destroy something than to build and defend it. If you haven't played Shadowbane yet, give it a try, it might be your thing. Shadowbane was laggy in a way that made Dark Age of Camelot raids seem precise. After reading the Mourning forum for about an hour today I decided not to give it another shot. I remember fighting in a very large battle among alliances that was decided in the exact manner you described: whomever's side had the most disconnects lost. They are already talking about how the server is laggy on my old server, Mourning. Player made cities were a great idea, but too easy to destroy and too hard to rebuild. Big fights almost always just turned into luck about who got disconnected once the fighting started. I liked the free for all PVP, there were penalties for death, but they weren't bad. What they really didn't do well was the stability. There were a few things that they did really well in Shadowbane, unfortunately make a stable game wasn't one of them.Stealth worked great, it was fun and useful, but there were still counters for it.
